Glitter 'n' Sparkle Challenge#217 - Traditional Christmas Colours

Monday, December 5, 2016
Hello to you all. Another week begins and 20 days until Christmas - the time is absolutely flying - has this year just flown by for anyone else? I haven't even thought about Christmas presents or Christmas Day. I will be working right up to Christmas and all through the Christmas period so it gives you a false sense of the time of year...
Our Challenge Theme this week is:
Traditional Christmas Colours
So we need to see all of your Crafty makes with Traditional Christmas Colours of Red, Green and Gold.... Get some more of those Christmas cards finished and sent off to friends and family. We have a wonderful prize for you from our sole sponsor Crafts and Me who are offering an £8 Digi Voucher.
My card this week uses a gorgeous Hannah Lynn image - Berry Branches - from Crafts and Me. Although you would not pick this image for a traditional Christmas image, I think when you make the berries red and use Christmas colours it starts to look very Christmassy, and it make it a versatile image as well. She is coloured with copic markers. I have used glossy accents on the berries however this is hard to photograph. When you then team the image up with some Christmas patterned paper, add some red ribbon and some bells - you then have a great Christmas Card for someone special!

Copic colours used:-
Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair - C2, C5, C7, C9
Sky - B37, white posca pen for stars
Branches and Owl - E31, E33, E37, E49
Greens - G23, G94, G99
Reds - R22, R24, R27, R39

I hope you have a great week and get a change to join us in this challenge. Check out all the great inspiration from the Design Team and don't forget to leave some love.

Thanks for looking.
Kristina xx
