Yellow Dress

Monday, May 28, 2012
In my new job I have 16 staff and I am determined to make them all handmade cards on their birthdays! So this is the latest one for a birthday this week. I used the Fancy Dress stamp from Hero Arts, and the sentiment is from the Signature Greetings set from Papertrey Ink. I used my Lime Tart A La Tarte Kit for most of the paper and cardstock.

Happy Mother's Day

Monday, May 14, 2012
After making so many other Mother's Day cards to sell, I decided that this was my favourite design out of them all for my own Mum, and one for my son's Grandma. I used some products from a recent A La Tarte kit from Lime Tart. I used some of the buttons, coloured cardstock and the chevron washi tape from Bella!

For Mum

Monday, May 7, 2012
At my son's school they have an annual Mother's Day stall, where kids can buy small gifts for mum that have been donated by families to the stall. I am still a little puzzled why they don't have a father's day stall, but oh well...

Anyway I decided I would contribute with whipping up some cards, a little less whipping than ongoing concern about what sort of card a 7 year old would buy for their mother! I thought I would be able to make a few, but with working full time, and not wanting to do the same design on every card, I managed to accomplish 13. Which in itself does not seem many, but the hours put into those cards are no insignificant.

These two cards below I made from Papertrey Ink set Blooming Button Bits set.

This was a simple yet effective card, using a heart punch and spellbinder circle dies, with the greeting from Kaisercraft.
